Autofocus imaging with Tele Vue scopes is possible with our absolute ASCOM plug-ins for ASCOM compliant programs that support autofocus. All you need is a Tele Vue telescope that accepts the Focusmate fine-focus device with the accessories listed below, a computer with the appropriate control software (such as MaxIm DL or Astroart), and a camera controllable by the software.

There are two plug-in modules available for focusing. The absolute plug-in is used for autofocusing and requires the Tele Vue Digital Indicator.  The relative plug-in is for manual-only control and is not discussed below.
